Chris Gonzales, owner and operator of CG Heating... and Cooling, recently removed our 15 yr old builder's grade furnace and air conditioner and replaced each with a completely new Trane system. Chris was honest and upfront with his assessment of the remaining life of the old system, noting that it could function for another year or so but would most likely need replacement sooner rather than later. He left the decision to keep/repair or replace entirely up to us without any pressure whatsoever to replace either or both of the system components. He gave us a complete and specific breakdown of the types of systems he could install, the benefits and features of each and the associated costs, and then said he would wait for our decision. There was no attempt to "sell" us a specific system at all. It took us a while to determine which system would be most beneficial to the comfort of hour home and the impact on our finances, but once we made our decision we called Chris to set up an installation date. Within a week, Chris was on-site at our home with the new system and all necessary parts, fittings, duct work, and intake/exhaust pipes. His work was that of an experienced tradesman who takes pride in his craft and values his customers. The installation was clean and precise, and Chris left the worksite completely clean, free of any debris from the job. The installation included a new "smart" thermostat, which features Chris demonstrated before he left at the end of the job. We have been completely pleased with Chris' professional work and the value of the price we paid for the excellent system we received. We would recommend Chris without reservation to anyone who wants a professional system installation of high quality components at a very competitive price. If that wasn't enough, we should also mention that Chris is a genuinely nice person with a solid work ethic and a great personality... a true pleasure to work with.read more

Just in case anyone needs HVAC service with this... heat, we just had Christopher Gonzales, owner of CG Heating and Cooling, located right here in Castle Rock out today to fix our AC that went out on Saturday evening.He was quick, efficient and 1/3 the price of the other two local HVAC shops who never showed up after booking appointments.This guy is top notch, ethical and honest. We have Carrier AC units, which dont have much quality and are poor construction grade. Chris found an owners manual wedged in the 2nd floor AC evaporator, which could only have been placed there during construction!Definitely recommend this company!read more
