Chris at CG Heating and Cooling is terrific. Very honest, ethical and informative. Not to mention their prices are great. They were able to install high end Trane furnaces beating the price quoted for lesser equipment and brands from other companies. He worked quickly installing our furnaces and was very communicative throughout the process answering all our questions.

Chris Gonzales, owner and operator of CG Heating and Cooling, recently removed our 15 yr old builder's grade furnace and air conditioner and replaced each with a completely new Trane system. Chris was honest and upfront with his assessment of the remaining life of the old system, noting that it could function for another year or so but would most likely need replacement sooner rather than later. He left the decision to keep/repair or replace entirely up to us without any pressure whatsoever to replace either or both of the system components. He gave us a complete and specific breakdown of the types of systems he could install, the benefits and features of each and the associated costs, and then said he would wait for our decision. There was no attempt to "sell" us a specific system at all. It took us a while to determine which system would be most beneficial to the comfort of hour home and the impact on our finances, but once we made our decision we called Chris to set up an installation date. Within a week, Chris was on-site at our home with the new system and all necessary parts, fittings, duct work, and intake/exhaust pipes. His work was that of an experienced tradesman who takes pride in his craft and values his customers. The installation was clean and precise, and Chris left the worksite completely clean, free of any debris from the job. The installation included a new "smart" thermostat, which features Chris demonstrated before he left at the end of the job. We have been completely pleased with Chris' professional work and the value of the price we paid for the excellent system we received. We would recommend Chris without reservation to anyone who wants a professional system installation of high quality components at a very competitive price. If that wasn't enough, we should also mention that Chris is a genuinely nice person with a solid work ethic and a great personality... a true pleasure to work with.

Just in case anyone needs HVAC service with this heat, we just had Christopher Gonzales, owner of CG Heating and Cooling, located right here in Castle Rock out today to fix our AC that went out on Saturday evening.He was quick, efficient and 1/3 the price of the other two local HVAC shops who never showed up after booking appointments.This guy is top notch, ethical and honest. We have Carrier AC units, which dont have much quality and are poor construction grade. Chris found an owners manual wedged in the 2nd floor AC evaporator, which could only have been placed there during construction!Definitely recommend this company!

I had them replace my evaporative cooler with a Breezaire cooler. It works great. He was very professional with giving me a written estimate and bill. The estimate wasn’t more than the bill. They cleaned up after the job was done, not leaving any trash or mess.I had another local company give me and estimate on what I wanted done but said they couldn’t run the extra vent to the living room of the house.

Thank you CG for replacing my furnace. I really appreciated the time that Marty spent explaining to me the different options that were available to me. Highly Recommend CG Heating and Cooling!Why? Integrity. Exceptional Workmanship. First-Class Client Service. Affordable.Our 2019 (new-build) heater quit on Thanksgiving 2022. Chris (owner) showed up the very next day. He was efficient & thorough in his assessment, finding it could be a few issues causing the problem. Chris offered repair options, explaining he's mindful of clients' pocketbooks. I chose a more conservative option. Chris noted our motor was under warranty (I didn't realize this), so if the less expensive fix I started with didn't work, then he could replace the motor for labor cost only (nice!). Chris showed me his work every step of the way and taught me about my furnace (also nice!). Chris' pricing is very reasonable and he answered any questions I had afterward via text.I also decided to hire Chris to do a furnace clean/check w/blower removal & wheel cleaning because it was apparent whoever our builder hired to clean the system did a terrible job (or it just didn't happen). Same experience - Chris showed me every part, explained how they work, what he was doing - and it didn't cost me an arm & a leg.Fast forward to January 2023, the motor started in again w/the same problems. Chris got the replacement warranty motor ordered & installed ASAP. He even came back to adjust an exterior vent the builder didn't position properly without charging me for his time or labor!

When you make a large investment in your home for item(s) you know absolutely nothing about one is quite vulnerable to the person selected to implement these items. I can say with complete confidence that my experience in working with Chris to assess, select, and install 3 major pieces of equipment into our home was as good as one could ever hope for. I've experienced working with the larger HVAC companies and always felt I was at the mercy of their technician. I had no real trust that they were an expert nor "cared" about the longevity of their work or product. None of these things could be farther from my actual experience with CG Heating and Cooling. Chris was extremely prompt with his estimate and even undercut the competitor by at least $1,500. Not to mention he installed a better brand but also the best size equipment for our home. He was incredibly efficient, tidy, and friendly and took the extra time to ensure we were experts in operating our new heating and cooling system. If you want to feel confident that you're getting the best quality, workmanship, and equipment for your home there's no question Chris is the best choice!

Furnace went out on Super Bowl Sunday. Called several furnace repair shops and either no one was available or no one answered.
